Not sure if there is any power saving features on Mac. Alternatively, have people found other video grabbers that work with the Mac OS that also don't drop frames, etc. My friend is a starving college student, and is loath to spend money on a second computer. I'm making 'long term loans' of a camera, an early IOTA-VTI, and other bits of hardware.-Ted S There is no 'trick' on MacOS operating system.
